Venue

iGBL 2015 will be held at the Institute of Art, Design & Technology (IADT) in Dun Laoghaire, County Dublin. The conference will be hosted by the Department of Technology & Psychology in association with the Department of Entrepreneurship.

The Department of Technology and Psychology is part of the IADT Faculty of Film, Art and Creative Technologies. It offers highly innovative programmes across a range of disciplines in psychology, applied computing and digital media including:

  • BSc (Hons) in Creative Media Technologies
  • BSc (Hons) in Creative Computing
  • BSc (Hons) in Applied Psychology
  • MSc in Cyberpsychology

These programmes combine technical skill and knowledge with an understanding of the context within which creative technology operates in society. In all of our areas of activity there is a strong emphasis on the human dimension to technology

Location Map

The iGBL 2015 symposium will be held in the Carriglea building on the IADT Dun Laoghaire campus. IADT is located 10 kilometres south of Dublin City and easily accessible off the N11 and near M50 Junction 15 (Leopardstown).

Dublin Bus (46A) offers a direct bus service to the campus. Alternatively, the DART can be taken to Dun Laoghaire station where there is a terminus for Bus 46A or 75.

Car Parking

Delegates can park in Car Parks A, C or D which are all signposted.  Please note that parking is not permitted in the “reserved” spaces in Car Park A and the entirety of Car Park B.

Parking is free during the symposium.

Public Transport

BUS

The 46A bus from Dublin via UCD offers a frequent direct bus service (46A) which stops in front of IADT.

The 75 bus departs Dun Laoghaire and stops directly in front of IADT.

TRAIN

From Dublin, the DART train runs to Dun Laoghaire station where there is a connection onto the 46A or 75 Bus.
